Wagon Wednesday...

Or French Friday??? This cast can be both! Since I’ve already done a French Friday post recently and somewhat neglected posts on the more attractive active lifestyle vehicle ( the other is ugly SUV), I believe the last time I posted anything wagon related was an old Chevy! So my recently acquired Peugeot 508 SW from Majorette will help end the long drought of Wagon Wednesday from me.

In the past few years, design on French cars has been on a roll, this Peugeot is a perfect example. To me this is one of the top 5 most attractive station wagon currently, the one that tops my list is the new Renault Talisman wagon which coincidentally is also French. The Germans ended up playing safe in the design department and as a result all of their cars look similar and boring (I’m looking at you Audi). The killer’s heal for this car is the dreary engine options which consist of a series of 4 cylinder diesel and gas engines, bleh.

This Majorette representation shown here is excellent with plastic headlights you expect on most casts from Majorette, a little bit of suspension action like on a Tomica and just like most Tomica, opening feature which this got the opening hatch to reveal a massive trunk space that all dogs will rejoice.
