A new chapter begins, it’s time to vote on the next diecast to be part of my daily adventures.

For a quick recap, in the past two years I’ve been keeping a tradition of letting the kind community of LaLD to pick out a diecast from a line of contestants for me to carry wherever I go and document some of the fun journeys along the way. The winner for the 2016-2017 EDC was a Dodge Rampage that I discovered while visiting my childhood home oversea last summer.

A final post was made last week as a way of a send-off for the little pick-up which you can check out here:

However, the post ended with one short question: “Or is it the end?” this got some to speculate on what is going to happen to the Rampage, some believe its going to get customized and objected if that was the decision.

I confirmed the Rampage won’t get a makeover, but didn’t disclose what that last sentence on the post meant. For every year of my EDC series I always have something a little different to make things interesting the new series is no exception, for the first time in the EDC series I will allow the EDC Rampage from last year to be re-elected. That’s the reason why the last post ended with that question.

Another change for this year is the number of contestants, previous 2 years have a selection of 8 cars which was a bit too much. So its simplified down to 6 cars for this year and here are the contestants:

First up something from the exotic class, and one of my favorite in the group. a Lamborghini Aventador

Something for the Euro class, I’ve given the E36 M3 some criticism due to what we actually got in the states compare to the European market, but special such as an LTW is alright with me.

Some might remember this little guy, it’s nice to have another veteran at EDC to be part of the group.
