This week is the Woodward Dream Cruise near my home in Michigan.(If you've never gone I highly suggest going) Since the Dream Cruise is practically a holiday around my house I decided to showcase some Pontiac Muscle.

The GTO in my mind is the best representation of the muscle car era. The GTO was designed by John DeLorean and quickly became a pop culture icon of the 60's. The car also had the performence to match its great looks, it would fly through the quarter in the 14 second range.

The Pontiac Firebird was in my mind the prettiest Pontiac ever. My favorite feature is the ram air hood. The hood had two functional hood scoops separated by a big bulge. Not to mention, you could also tear up Woodward with a 400 cubic inch V8.

As far as stop light to stop light drag cars go these were two of the best.
