I received this little gem in my latest box from Japan - the 1/64 Toyota 86 GT by the new manufacturer Oversteer. It comes in a little plexiglass box, mounted on a plinth and fixed with one small screw:
All of that is easily removed so we can get to the model - and it's a winner for me. The proportions of the real car are well ceptured
A pleasing level of detail all around:
Sizewise, it's a little bit smaller than the equivalent Tomica, and so it should, as it is meant to be an 1/64 opposed to the Tomica's 1/60 (this is the Subaru BRZ twin, it was in the same box)
This was the first casting made by Oversteer but based on this model, I will get more of what is coming in the future. It would just be nice if they decided to cover some ground that others haven't.
