So I went out this morning on the hunt for the Porsche Edition HWs. Spoiler alert - I found nothing. Instead, I found something I never even knew existed - three Majorette Limited Edition models. In a place called “The Reject Shop” - which is sort of an upmarket Dollar Shop. Everything is at least two Dollars there...
I found three different castings - but the packaging informs me that there are nine overall. They are all painted in matte colours - this SLS is in a dark graphite matte that almost refuses to reflect light of any kind - very hard to photograph...
Then there was this green Boss Mustang
The windows on all are really dark, almost impossible to see through...
The last one is the Audi R8 in blue, which had a bit of a nasty surprise...
It is all plastic! Which, considering these are meant as some kind of a premium product, sucks.
That one looks a bit cheap and awful. Here are the rest of the models in this series, as per the packaging:
I’d really like to find the Alpine, Skyline and Porsche too. I don’t think I’d worry about the Lambos - I’ve a feeling they would be plastic too.
