Land of the Rising Sun-Day: New Tomica Nissan GT-R Casting

So - here’s the new Tomica #23 GT-R casting. And it’s quite an improvement over the previous #94 casting. Especially the the wheels look a lot better on this one.

Though the gaps around the doors are still a bit much for more liking. They’ve done that better in the past, and I’m thinking these might be carry over parts from the previous one? I’d have to dig that one out and compare to be sure.

The interior is still rather basic, as on all regular Tomica. But the bronze colour on the normal release is a nice change. The first day release in silver looks like more of the same.

The detail is nice enough, not like the TLV obviously, but its on the money.

So - the legend lives, and it looks a bit better than before.
