It’s been a while since someone gave us an Australian Exclusive. Matchbox and Hot Wheels used to...but it’s been a long time between drinks. So “Welcome back” to Majorette and thanks for thinking of us!

The Aussie Exclusives come in a 3-Pack of Emergency Vehicles, or “S.O.S Cars” as Majorette calls them, and the Mustang Police car is definitely the centerpiece here. And it is a nice looking thing indeed. It’s just too bad that the Mustang failed the local Police test after only three minutes...

So it’s still not certain that the Mustang will replace our local V8 Holdens and Fords after production ends next year (RIP). But apparently Ford is working on a fix, so here’s hoping. The alternatives are the Volvo S60 Polestar and VW Golf R Wagon. Shudder...

The next model is the Renault Master as an Ambulance. It makes a reasonable (if a bit generic) impression of the real thing.

However, we do use Mercedes Sprinter Vans here - but I don’t think too many people would even notice the difference.

And the last model is an MAN TGS Fire Engine - with movable ladder. I’m a sucker for moving parts on diecast, so that definitely appeals:

Our Fire Services use a wide variety of trucks - I’m not sure if MAN trucks are in the mix, but I can’t see a reason why they wouldn’t be.
