I’m not into this Pokémon GO crap. I just found my old Oddish figurine and decided to put it with my subjects for today. I bought this black Porsche 911 (991) Turbo S from TRU yesterday and thought it would be fitting to pair it with Hot Wheels Boulevard 911 (993) GT2. The black Turbo S is by Fast Lane. Not exactly a brand I buy most of the time, as the models are always old and never topped up, but this latest Porsche Turbo surprised me. I haven’t seen any of the new red Hot Wheels Porsche GT2 at stores in Singapore and Malaysia, or any other diecast of the new 991 Porsche (except for Tomica) so this was the next best thing.
Casting is not too bad, although the wing mirrors look like large stumps. Not too nice. Also not so nice is the undersized rear wheels. Fast Lane used the same sized wheels for the front and rear wheels, despite the rear wheels supposedly being larger than the front on the real car. Anyway, it’s just a toy. I may just be too picky on this. Haha.
