LaLD Car Week: Teutonic Tuesday (1:87)

Yet another Gulliwing, this time a 1:87 from High Speed.

Size comparison: the Simpsons Car v. The mini-me Gullwing:

The good: it has details that would shame your run of the mill 1:64, such as clear plastic for headlamps, and an actual steering wheel instead of a plastic disk HW passes-off as one. Look at that M-B emblem on the hood as well. Also, the metallic silver seems to be clear-coated. It even has rubber tires!

The bad: no detailing at the rear.

The cost: 100 Pesos, or US $2. For that you also get an acrylic case, which I took for my GT40.
