Well I had a few minutes and took some pics as promised so here they are!
First up is the van. I found it last night at Wal Mart and didn't know it would be there. Part of the entertainment series of cars. Black with chrome 5 spokes...couldn't say no. Very cool model.
I actually bought about 5 cars that I plan to customize. I can't wait to make them. I will take some snaps and post up what I am starting with later.
Next up is a 64 Nova wagon. I love this casting and it just looks right to me. Out of the box it really isn't bad at all. Good paint and the perfect wheels. I bought 5 of these to custom! This was my first attempt.

I had trouble with this car as my drill bit walked and only took half the rivet. I ended up BREAKING the chassis in HALF prying it apart. I was able to use super glue and a heat gun to get it back together. The grill is a bit off but close.
I wanted a sinister look with this car and have been wanting to try some paint on the bumpers to get a black/chrome look. I uses VHT Nightshades paint for tail lights as it is a dark clear basically. Once medium coat on the chassis/bumpers did the trick!!!! I used the same paint to do the car over the bare metal. Came out really smooth.
I kept the wheels it came with because they look right at home on here.
Not your concourse car lol
I will do more of these in varying colors as well as other wagons I have. As of now I plan to custom 7 MORE wagons of varying makes so look out! Wagon Wednesday should be epic!
