Wednesday PHOTOGRAPHY review: June 25th!

It's already Wednesday again and oh what a week we have had. The LALD Facebook page seems to be bustling with all type of posts being made. Themed photo of the day has been drawing some new commenters and they have definitely been bringing their A-game. The blog is also hot with activity and there have been many great posts on a variety of subjects, scales, media, ect. So without further delay, let's get started!

Like last week, I want to start things off with my overall favorite photo for the week. Last week is was a dramatic shot of an Alfa but this week I chose a very fun, very loud shot by Tony Suzta of a Custom Firebird redline covered in paint! These are toys and we must not ever forget that. Take a look!

Next up I want to showcase some features from the week on the blog.

Jeff Simmons started a discussion on Redline cars and featured a picture he took of an old Nomad, it just speaks to me as I love Nomads. Be sure to check the comments for other fantastic shots.

Otaconmutasim get his creative juices flowing and actually made a fake Mercedes advertisement using a 1:18 scale SLK55 and a bit time messing with some fonts to create what you see. This easily passes for a real ad. VERY VERY WELL DONE SIR!

Apparently this hobby is addictive (who knew?!) according to Enginerrrrrrr as his eyes have been opened up to the world of 1:18th scale and is now very worried about the state of his finances. Dat 917 tho…..

Up next is a newer commenter on our blog by the name of Skyfire77 and his showcase of some of his custom Transformers. Everything is extremely detailed and well done. Definitely check this out!!

Continuing his showcase of some of the Retro Entertainment cars, TE71Xin brings us the almighty Charger belonging to Dom's father. No explanation needed here.

In a post from Jared East Photography, he gives us a large shot of the engine bay of a scale stockcar. I love the detail this model has!

Lastly, I want to end with a shot by Denver_80222 of a Fiat 500. Just a downright cool shot. He is also suggesting that OPPO and LALD be friends…I think that is a possibility ;)
