So I am in the build process of my Matchbox Fox Body coupe to clone my real life car and I am needing to shorten the front axle. I have seen a video of using a set of pliers and a ball-peen hammer to hold and mushroom the end of a cut axle. I have not tried this but would like to see if any of you have and what you thought. I have also seen Philiphilip's method of using some small caps but can't seem to find anything like that at the moment. Any help is appreciated.
