Diecast Liberation Movement!! 68 Barracuda

I bought this particular car years ago as part of the Phil's Garage series because of it's sinister looks. Black on black on black! It was love at first sight and has been my favorite car of all my collection since! I have kept it in the package all this time for display reasons but decided to crack it open and take some cool pictures for the Diecast Liberation Movement! These are meant to be free and played with so this is my contribution.

The card - great artwork

The car itself is one of my favorite castings and to me, this version is the best of any made. Glossy black with tasteful silver stripes with a touch of red lettering. Flat black hood for a traditional old school mopar look. The hood even has 4 silver dots to represent 4 hood pins being a full lift-off. Smoked glass. To top it off, black 5 spoke wheels on real rider tires.

Now, the pictures!

This car may get a detail treatment for more contrast in the grille and rear suspension.
