I have had this car since I was a kid as I have always been a big Cobra fan. My dad got me into them as they are his all time favorite cars. Throughout time this beast somehow lost its windshield but to me that made it even cooler as it had a pure race look like the 289 FIA cars for competition. Here is what I started with:
My issue is that every cobra have these big wheels on them which fit the wheel wells but to me still look too big for the car as well as leaving it a bit too high. I found a remedy...
Body just sitting on the wheels. Smaller diameter but I think it works since it fills the wells nicely!
Now, after trying to remove most of the bionic paint, I modified the axles using tubes and spaced them up from the chassis floor to lower the car. I even had to trim the round tabs under the car to get it low enough.
Stance achieved!!!!!!!!! It rolls awesome too!! That is all I will show for now as I need to work on smoothing all the casting lines. The windshield is done but you have to wait for that!
