CUSTOM! My outlaw 356 interpretation

So the 356 bug bit me hard like the rest of you and I was hopeless in finding one....until Philip sent me one out of nowhere!!!! I immediately began working on it! I had known exactly what I wanted long before I ever got the car.

This didn’t need many changes but rather to highlight the detail it had and add just a bit to it.

I added the smaller Escort lights like others:

Some exhaust tips were added thanks to a WD40 straw!

Detailed the interior: I like the red but wanted a richer/darker hue so I mixed up my own color.

I then added matchbox wheels from an ssp mustang since the outer rings are also black.. I lowered the car only slightly but it turned out to be a TON of work to enable it to roll freely as the wheels hit the bottom of the hood in front and hit the interior a lot in the rear. It was worth it though.

The rest was just simply paint detail. I did get a new brush but am still no Craig-Sterling lol.

I was after a good light/dark contrast. gloss black headlight/taillight bezels, window trim, blacked out B-pillar, black engine cover grilles, black under the rear louvers for added depth, flat black hood.
