Random Custom/Tomica/Green Machine/Book content below.
Hey all, got up to a rainy saturday so I’ll finally get around to share some stuff I’ve been meaning to.
First, I wanted to share this Skyline I made a while back. Finally took some more shots of this by itself. I want to get some outdoor shots when winter is over as it’s not really something I think looks great on the sterile background.
Next, here’s how the Alfa is shaping up. I think it may get some fog lights and differing headlight lamp color. I like how the plaid on the rear deck came out.
Here’s my WIP roadcar mclaren, sorry it’s currently really dusty. I really like the BRG and caramel leather interior. Needs all the details and some work on the plastic base. Should I get rid of the front splitter? I think so.
Thanks again Plasticprints(II) for the Camaro donor! The wheels look great in black but I still think I’ll need them to be silver.
Now here’s what I’m most excited about! Warhol M1 got some clearcoat today! I think it’s almost done!
I just wanted to share one of the only Tomicas I own (I know, I need to get more of these). SharkTruck! I think it’s a Greenland shark since the mouth looks fairly wide. Love this thing.
Okay heres the Green Machine I found. Pretty cool as my TRU (which happily isn’t closing) finally put out a set. I’ll keep and display this unless somee REALLY wants to trade for it (nateunderconstruction at gmail). I think the green doors look nice. Any ideas about production numbers on these?
Okay, I know this isn’t diecast related but for the Porsche fans out there I found these at a resale book store all for less than $12, so I went for it. Lots of cool details and history, sections, cutaways and interesting stuff in here. Mostly 356 content, even better.
Okay, now lastly, I know you are all sick of seeing these, but they’re great. Thank you Plasticprints(II) again for this, I’m glad you tolerated my whiney post about not finding them long enough to hear I needed a laurel.
Thats all for today. Thanks!
