So I’ve been really busy with school, and have had these sitting on my mantle for over a month, but I’ve finally gotten them together for a DLM photo shoot before I put them into their respective creative organizers thread cases.

I’ve always been partial to the first model “black-roof” five-spoke NSX as opposed to the later body color multi spoke models. They somehow define the car for me, so I’m extremely happy to see HW give it some love. (Pics courtesy of Gran Turismo 4 on Playstation 2 and many hours of my time, almost every car snapped!)

Last but definitely not least, I stumbled upon a famous ‘58 Plymouth from the 2015 Retro Entertainment series.

As most of you know, I have a sort of love affair with this car.
Here is the 2013 Boulevard car alongside the 2015 Retro Entertainment “Christine” model. The only outward differences that I can see are the addition of front and rear light tampos as well as the license plate CQB 241 on Christine.
It’s interesting to note that the Boulevard car is named ‘58 Plymouth Belvedere and has the tall “BELVEDERE” lettering in the nook of the silver trim. The Christine car, however, does without the lettering as is simply called ‘58 Plymouth. Refer to my previous ‘58 Plymouth article, but the Christine book and movie state the car as a ‘58 Fury, although they were only offered with gold trim that year. The movie producers literally took red on white Belvederes and modified them for the film, even taking some Furys and replacing the gold trim with silver.

It’s been too long, I’ll try to keep in the loop as we go along here. My friends in diecast, thanks for reading!
