Since I am a fan of the Chevy Nomad, I have already a long time ago this low budget model in 1/24 from Road Signature. I was surprised and happy at the same time, when instead of the blue model I ordered, a green-metallic-colored nomad was delivered to me.
At first the Chevy had to come closer to the road because he was very high legged. Said, done.
I wanted to create a surfer-mobile, so I sawed out the rear window and replaced it with a piece of Plastic packaging. So it looks as if the Nomad is standing there with the rear window open. It is not succeed perfectly, but the Quick & Dirty - version is doing quite well.
The surfboard comes from American Diorama and I just added a few decals to it.
I am of the opinion that this model should absolutely still be used for an outdoor photo shoot. I also thought about adding a Greenlight caravan to it....
