After the “Which 1:18 should I buy?” post a while ago, I impulse-bought the OttoMobile Audi Coupe GT. Yeah, I own the real thing... so why not nab it in miniature?
And it is lovely. The proportions and details are perfect. I couldn’t manage an acceptable shot of the interior, but rest assured, it is accurate.
Now, OttoMobile. This is my only 1:18, and even though the details are fantastic, I was surprised by the corners one must cut to make these low-volume models. The window glass is basically clear plastic sheeting - flexes if you touch it. The trim? It looks good from these angles, but a section of passenger-side trim was missing, and another inch peeled away right after unboxing.
Nonetheless, this is a brilliant model. I really do love this...
