Almost a 2-BMW Sunday...

I’ve nearly bought a new real-life car. However, for reasons I won’t detail here, I’m waiting for the dealer to fully disclose any and all deviations from OEM on a very low-mileage late-model vehicle before I drive it home.

But! Even though I don’t have a nearly-new BMW in my driveway, I have a best-of Matchbox BMW 1M on the coffee table.

Plus, a Land Rover ambulance.

I was surprised to find these Matchbox Best-Of vehicles at my local Fred Meyer — previously, they’ve only had buses and trucks. And these are nice! Perhaps the knobby tires aren’t accurate on the 1M, but the level of detail beats the decade-old Matchbox Premiere/World Class cars recently featured here... (And yes, I’ve recently ebayed a couple of those...)
