When Noodles announced the off road lambo contest, I knew exactly which Lambo I was going to use - My all time favourite Lamborghini, the 1967 Marzal, a concept car that never made it into production.

Why Marzal? I always loved the four door gullwing low slung look and thought it could translate well into an off-road buggy style, particular with the treatment of the side doors and glasshouse.

Sourcing a Marzal in 1/64 unfortunately, was a much harder task than I had originally envisaged.

I managed to find one on eBay shipped from Hungary, made by PlayArt, an old Hong Kong diecast toy car maker that is now defunct. I’ll post the build in another thread later.

The theme is a bit of a Mad Max style apocalyptic pathfinder, inspired partly by the smoke haze blanketing most of South-Eastern Australia due to the bushfires right now.

Hope y’all enjoy the photos!
