Welcome to Monday! And that, of course, also means, Welcome to another edition of the Live and Let Die-Cast Customs Review!
Not going to beat around the bush this time, but hop into it right away.
Skyfire77 is back with another batch of custom Transformers. Mad props to you, sir, for making sure we set our eyes beyond just diecast to other forms of modelling as well. We are very inclusive and (speaking for myself, at least) enjoy the full spectrum, from train table displays, to diecasts of all sizes, planes, action figures, and Adriana Lima.
Anyway, back to the custom Transformers. My favorite is definitely Blue Max, but all of these biplanes are money. Please keep these coming!!
As for diecasts, this is the kingdom of 717. Carnage717. As always, he's kept himself, and us, busy with customs, finishing six cars!
First up is the highly anticipated James Bond submarine Lotus Elise. The only thing this is missing is a blue background and a diorama it can be mounted in to look like it's under water.
I love all the oldschool Lesney models Carnage has been doing, and I thank him for it. These old toys deserve a nice bit of TLC.
I have not seen Back To The Future enough so I don't recall the actual movie version of the futuristic BMW 633i, but Carnage's version looks cool as hell!
I like seeing the "under construction" shots, so I definitely enjoyed the teaser pics. Really shows how much work went into it!
Thanks for tuning in again, and next week I'll have a contribution of my own, as well, and hopefully El_Uly can get his project going too!
Keep customizing, restoring, and painting and post em up with the prefix [CUSTOM] and the tag 'custom' so they are easy to find for the recap.
If you need help, just put your questions in the comments, and between all the gurus we have here I'm sure you'll get an answer.
Enjoy the week ahead!
