This is my interpretation of the Porsche 993 GT2 convertible. It was my first real foray into cutting pieces off of HW cars after finally getting a rotary tool, and I think it turned out surprisingly well!
My bad cutting led to a lot of sanding, but I was able to at last get the tub to look pretty smooth aftet removing the roof.
The orange color was inspired by the awesome Singer 911s, while with the wheels I tried to do a homage to the 911 50th anniversary edition Fuchs lookalikes. I think I might actually still modify them by filling in the cavities with a drop of JB Kwik, but I think it looks decent as is already.
I think next I'll do a classic 911 Targa homage using another 993 donor chassis. Forrest green with black roof.
What do you guys think?
