The M3 shooting brake! Ever since I saw the video below, I knew I had to make one. I bought all the E30 M3s I could in the process and here she is! Finally complete!

As you may remember, I made this build much harder on myself than it should have been because I bought a rotary tool and got a little chop-happy. I turned two M3s into convertibles, instead of doing the rational thing and sketching out some plans first. If I would have done that, I would have noticed I could have just turned only one of them into a convertible, and taken only the rear part of the roof off of the second one. The result was that I had to reconstruct the roof completely, then chop up the second roof so I could mount it behind the shortened roof. Thank God this car doesn't have to pass any safety inspections.

But she is now done! And I love how she turned out. I think the detailing worked out fantastically both front and back, with especially the BMW badge on the front coming out much better than I thought it would!

What still bothers me is the glass. I had to chop and sand a fair amount before it fit well, because it sits on top of what used to be the trunk of the M3 when it was still a coupe. So let's just say it's never getting taken apart again.
