A mystery custom! A long-term project! Wheel swaps! Spray paint! Acetone! Pink Ferrari...?
In that order:
We've had an excellently extraordinary number international exchanges (iHWEPs) lately, thanks to TE71 Xin, Klaus Schmoll, and edu-petrolhead. Thanks everyone for taking a chance internationally and taking HWEP to a whole nother level! I have personally benefitted from it, I just sent my third iHWEP out last Friday, and am in talks for another, so I can vouch for it's awesomeness.
Anyway, Carnage717 took this opportunity to send a little something extra to Brazil along with his iHWEP. Unfortunately we will all have to wait a few weeks to find out what it is, but so far it looks good! :D
Boxy!
In the long-term project department, I finished my first real body modification custom, a 1992 BMW E30 M3 shootingbrake! And I have to say that I am pretty proud of it. There are definitely some things I will do better next time, such as the sander on my rotary tool, but overall the paint color turned out just as I wanted it, and the details thankfully came out nicely. Now I need to do another one... Anyone have a donor M3...?
Another iHWEP master, Klaus Schmoll, took matters into his own hands and resprayed some cars with great results. That Mustang is miiiiiiles better in silver than in that hideous light blue. Please keep 'em coming!!
Mycarneverruns87 did righted some wrongs last week, rectifying a bad choice by HW on those 8 Crate wheels and stripes on the Nova Wagon. Definitely much improved and both cars can now rest easy. Those black wheels look badass.
About that pink Ferrari....
I saw this last night on Facebook, and had to ask Diecast Photography if I could include his custom in our review here. Just look at it!! Gladly he consented, so I'll leave you all with this bright Italian stallion. PMY? Psh. PMP, SON!!
So that's all for this week, dear reader! Please don't hessitate to comment below with any feedback, praise for our customizers, questions on methods, etc. or just any other kind of comment.
