First off, I want to thank everyone for participating in our theme days contest. We had 74 total responses, which I think is amazing.

I also want to apologize for being a little tardy on this results post, but work has been kicking my butt big time the last few weeks, so I've had to work on this piecemeal.

Anyway, on to the results. Like any good, self-respecting results show, we will keep the real important stuff, who won the die-casts, until the end. You will find out….. after the break.

The suggested names were brilliant, and, surprisingly, some incumbent themes actually lost to new names. However, because we love MOPAR Monday and don't want to lose the tradition that started it all, I think we don't have to stick with just one theme per day. Whenever the mood strikes, throw up some pictures of your French cars on Fridays. LaLD Loves Lovely, uhm, photos, so any excuse to post them is alright by me!

And now, without further ado, let's get to the days and their names.

Monday!

This was a surprise. It's our most established current theme day (MOPAR), but I guess most people would like to see it expanded to muscle cars in general. My personal opinion is that MOPAR and muscle cars can easily coexist, there being a slight overlap in some instances anyway. Right on!

Tuesday!

Tons of options to choose from, and hotly contested between the two groups that were so under-represented that they formed the main impetus to do this survey/contest in the first place. In the end, though, Deutschland Deutschland über Alles! Well, at least über Tokyo Tuesday, by one vote.

Wednesday!

Also an already established LaLD institution, but unlike MOPAR Monday, Wagon Wednesday hands down beat out the competition to stay in its rightful place, muscling its way to a more than 2:1 victory over the likes of wild cards and Wankels.

Thursday!

The second largest margin of victory goes to Throwback Thursday, with 30 votes to the next highest ranked Three Door Thursday with 11 votes. TBT is in the house, y'all!

Friday!

A slight surprise, for me, was Ferra-Fri-Day over the likes of Freedom-, Ford-, and French Friday. French actually ended in third place, unlike its recent popularity and amount of posts suggest. But, like I said above, if you have interesting cars, keep posting them!

Saturday!

Dun dun duuuuuun! We have a tie! Anything Goes and Supercar Saturday both took home 23% of the votes. Tie goes to Anything Goes, because Sunday will be dedicated to supercars, so Saturday can be the go-to for anything whether it is automotive or not. Throw up your trains, planes, OR automobiles on Saturdays.

Sunday!

Another win for a day named "Supercar!" So super it needs TWO days!! Second place goes to Land of the Rising Sunday, which gets my vote for most clever name, for sure!

And now the winners.

As Jeff Simmons said before, winners will get a GM, Euro, or JDM diecast of his choosing. Winners can contact me here.
