Back to our regularly scheduled time on Monday, let''s get to our roundup of customs goodness. And this week, thanks in part to the return of esteemed friend of LaLD, Diecast Photography, there is definitely no shortage of goodness.

First up is this gentleman that Diecast Photography (henceforth referred to as DPh) posted in a comment on last week's Customs Review. A former Mystery Machine with added Real Riders and some evilized Geoffrey Giraffe graphics, this one's definitely interesting! I feel like watching some Wacky Races now...

DPh also produced a classic Gulf liveried 510 that is apparently for sale, although the sign is too small to read the price... (I have to admit that when I opened the post I actually thought the black 510 was the end result, expertly weatherized. ) I'm loving that grimy look. Make sure to click for more pics.

Lastly from DPh, a Kool Kombi in a similarly grimy state of affairs. This casting wears that look very well! I really like the innovative use of paper towels as well! :D

Navyeagleeye86 showed off his budding skillz, announcing and later producing an amazing Z28 Camaro and Porsche 934 and as of yet unfinished E36 M3, Chevelle SS, Rampage, and AE86. Keep painting, my friend!

In the education department, Mycarneverruns87 took us through the drilling and stripping of a Hakosuka Skyline. Great tips and great walkthrough! The Hako is a fun casting to work on. I've repainted two so far and I keep being tempted to pick up more whenever I see them.

Acetone bandit Sn210 elucidates on the techniques of tampo removal and adding detail with paint pens, areas I have thus far not explored a lot. You make it look easy, though, so I'm inspired to give it another shot.

If you have any questions on techniques, just add them below in the comments of post 'em up on LaLD, since it is clear we have plenty of experts on hand to answer them.

Also, please don't forget to tag your post with [CUSTOM] in the title, and Custom in the tags so that I can find them easily to put in this review.

Stay tuned later for an official announcement, but we are planning a LaLD Official October/Halloween Customs Expo! It is not a judged contest, but rather an opportunity to go as crazy or as tame as you like around the theme of fall and Halloween. So stock up on bright orange, black, and earthtone paint!

Keep customizing and experimenting!!
