Uly posted a picture of a Mastretta with its wings clipped a good while ago, but ever since then it's been my plan to do the same.
Tonight I finally had some free time, so what better to do than paint some quick details on this lovely little coupe.
I started thinking about what color to paint it, but the only good colors that I had that I could think of where blue or red and that would just be kind of boring. Mastrettas look amazing in yellow and bright green, but I don't have paint in those colors at the moment. However, instead of waiting for the right color to come along, I decided to delay the decision and at least just prime it.
When I was done, I realised I had stumbled upon the perfect color: matte grey!
I think it turned out pretty nicely, apart from the emblem on the hood that I messed with too much and ended up just plain fudging. This is when it just sucks you can't really touch up a sprayed-on base coat. I still love it though!
One last question: Keep the wheels silver or paint them? And then what color?
