This is the 1998 Le Mans 24H winning #26 Porsche 911 GT1 driven by Laurent Aiello, Stephane Ortelli, and my all-time favorite, Allan McNish.
I have recently fallen in love with this car, and this one is the subject of one of my impulse ebay buys from last week, which surprisingly came within 3 days! The other impulse buy should come Monday and is a Matchbox GT1 Strassenversion, while this one is a 1:43 resin model made by Onyx, and is apparently #4416 of 5000. I think I got a decent deal on it, and to my surprise it even came with the original box and display case!
I love it already, since it is my first real race car and first real 1:43 higher quality model, the beginning of, hopefully, a large and amazing collection. I'll do a real review later, but here are some preliminary images!
