I'm currently building resident Francophile and Porsche Carrera 3.2 owner Jobjoris a (near) replica of his car. I started with a Porsche 934 Turbo RSR, narrowed the body and cut the wing off.
Then I tried making some Fuchsy wheels by filling in the spokes in the J5 wheels with some JB Weld. I'm not 100% happy with them yet, so they will see some changes.
The 934 interior of course, because racecar, only contains one seat. So I added one from a Matchbox Porsche Panamera. I'm now thinking of replacing the other seat to match, since they don't look as similar next to each other as I thought they would...
The body is more or less done (or so I thought), after sanding off the majority of the wheel arch flares and smoothing out the curves. This unfortunately thinned out the arches so much I had to build them back up with JB Weld, but they came out looking pretty good. Off to paint! Of course that is when I noticed that I forgot to smooth out the hood, which still contains the racecar fuel cap and another random circle. Off to acetone!
Enjoy the work in progress pictures!
