[Custom] Wheel Quandaries

Hooray! I’ve finally had some good time to devote to customs! Last night I finished the bodies of two cars, a 599xx in homage to my favorite 250GTO livery, the blue and yellow car, and a Porsche 934 Turbo RSR in my new signature racing livery.

My issue right now is the choice of wheels. For the 934 I thought about using the Goodyears I stole from a NASCAR Camry. Jeff said they don’t like very Porsche, but I love the wheel lettering. Other options include the wheels from a Porsche 993 GT2, or the original 934 RSR BBS multi spokes.

The 599xx is harder, because of the staggered setup. I love the “stock” wheels on the grey 599, but they don’t look very good on this one because of the color. I can try the silver version of the same wheel, but it’s so plain. Other options include BBS multi spokes, or the Indy car real riders with a yellow stripe on the tire. I would have to paint the wheels black or gunmetal though, they don’t look good in lighter grey.

Also, should I paint the roof and spoiler matte black, or leave them as is?

Any suggestions on other wheel setups I can try?
