Clearly Matchbox is putting their new premium wheels from the Supreme Hero line to good use. They announced at the Matchbox Gathering last weekend a Best of the World set, which, as our good friends at Lamley show, my personal favorite casting of the last few years, the BMW 1M Coupe as one of its signature models.
Black with gold striping, Matchbox-level tampos, and a lovely version of their premium wheels. And yes, a hood roundel. What is not to love?
I’m very happy that Matchbox is doing well, so let’s all keep buying their cars so they keep improving! And why wouldn’t you, with castings and lines such as the 1M above, the Tesla, GT40, upcoming LM002 and Cayman, and all those fire trucks?
