Quick Custom Catchup

So far I’ve done two Porsche Outlaw customs, both simple wheel swaps and paint jobs (Well, one was a tampo delete, but I did paint the details. Does that count?), so naturally it was time for something a little more ambitious. How about a Speedster?

This is my main inspiration, but with some changes:

  • No bumpers
  • Driver-only tiny windshield like this:

  • Possibly a hood strap delete
  • Taped-over headlights
  • Central two-into-one exhaust

And here is where I am, so far. I chopped off the roof...

And added the cowling behind the driver’s head.

Up next: clean up the edges of the cowling and rear deck, close up the front, work out how it will fit together with the interior, smooth out the bodywork, start working on a windshield that I have to fabricate from scratch because it accidentally got stuck inside the casting when I sprayed it with paint stripper thereby completely melting it, picking wheels, possibly deleting the hood straps, and adding the chrome strip on the center of the hood. It’s slow going, as I am trying to fit some commissioned projects in between that have been lagging (Sorry to the guys that know who they are!), but so far it’s looking pretty decent!
