When inspiration strikes, one must act on it, and that is how this Porsche 356B was born. I had this color lying around already from a previous custom, but forgot I had it. When I went into the garage to hang up a shelf to house my plethora of paint cans, I rediscovered it, and I knew it was the perfect color for a 356.

Step 4: Detailing. Let’s start with the metal pieces such as the trim around the head-, tail-, and marker lights, as well as the hood trim.

Step 5: Add the lenses. Had to go for white (clear) lenses on this one. Sorry Jobjoris!

E90 interlude! She just looks so good all washed and shiny.

Step 6: Interior! Two-tone saddle brown/auburn, and a custom shift knob. The one that HW gave us is way too fat and chunky. Needs to be more delicate.

Step 7: Some black wash to accentuate body seams, metal parts, and lighting, and white dots in case of TRACK DAY, BRO! They are a tad smaller than I wanted them to be, but unfortunately a 1/4" whole punch was the closest size I could find to what I wanted (8mm), but 6.38mm is close enough, I guess. Even though that would be off by almost 14cm on a 1:1.

I love the stance on this little guy! Plus, the gloss black of the rim stands out nicely from the flatter black of the tire.

Crappy interior shot.
