The Von Vriday

My wife works for Vonage, and recently came back from their HQ with a few pieces of swag. And among the usual beach bags, travel mugs, baby toys (I know!), and other random stuff, was this little gem: The Von.

It seems to be a Ford E-Series Econoline van of the first generation (1961-1967) in full flame-rich Vonage livery (cuz their connection is blazing fast, yo!), complete with bull horns on the front of the roof (I wonder if they help with steering!), and bull horns in the middle of the roof. I guess in the ‘60s they didn’t have Voice over IP yet, just Voice over PA.

It’s about 1:64, and doesn’t say who made it, just that it was made in China.

My wife told me that everyone in the HQ was apparently pretty jealous that she got one, as they are now quite rare, hailing from all the way back in 2007.
