Part one of my Christmas hawl, and one half of a two-part BMW E30 M3 collaborative Teutonic Tuesday, here is the absolutely stunning AUTOart 1990 E30 BMW M3 Sport Evolution, the Cecotto Edition.
It’s not even funny how great this model is. I’m literally blown away, even though I didn’t think I would be. In my family we do a secret santa-type thing, with a $50 cap this year, and with the Black Friday code from Model Citizen Diecast this came to just under that, so it went on my list. Thankfully my sister ended up getting it for me, because it is phenomenal.
AUTOart has definitely done a superb job with this hood opening Millennium 1:43 series. I guess that is why the E34 M5 goes for $100 or so on ebay, so that makes this a steal at $50. :) And the Cosworth looks pretty damn good as well!
I won’t go into too much detail on what exactly the Cecotto Edition of the E30 M3 is, because TE71 Xin already did that much better than I ever could, so let’s just gawk at some pretty pictures, shall we?
I took these in my garage with a LG G5 Potato and a cheap Ikea LED desk lamp with a nice flexible neck as a spotlight, but I really like the results.
Hope you enjoyed the photos. I can definitely highly recommend this model and by extension this whole AUTOart series. It’s THAT good.
Tschüß!
