A friend of mine spotted this video from well-known youtube hotwheels restorer baremetalhw. Though I don’t always like this style overall, this cheap method of making decals with plain paper, gloss coat, a hair dryer, and some water is pretty brilliant and for sure something I will try out.
I think it’ll look best in weathered applications, so especially guys like Tacit Rainbow could make liberal use of this with awesome results.
