Winter has come to Northern Virginia, and as one of the outskirt areas affected by the “bomb cyclone,” we got a modest amount of snow.

Significant enough to close schools, but not work, this 1-2 inches of snow was, however, the perfect environment into which to place Pearl McClutchy the White Lightning International Harvester Scout II.

Taking advice from resident expert dukeofdiecast, the first thing Pearl did was to find some shelter.

After that was sorted, we got going. The snow was deeper than it looked, and she almost disappeared completely, not helped by the camouflage paint.

As it turns out, not only was it deep, it was also very slippery. Thankfully the depth of the snow did help here, as Pearl was able to make it out unscathed after that tumble.
