Once a year I get to splurge on a 1:18 for my birthday. Because this is a once a year occurrence, I have to make it count. Two years ago I got the Gozzy Kremer Porsche 935K3, last year I got the McLaren F1 GTR “Ueno Clinic,” and this year I went back to my 935 roots and went for the legendary #0 Interscope Racing Porsche 935 that won the 1979 Daytona 24 Hour race at the hands of Ted Field, Danny Ongais, and Hurley Haywood.

I won’t go into too much detail here for lack of time, but I think I made the right choice with this year’s #team118 addition.
