I’m adding two cylinders, but sticking with the same twin-turbo theme. Today’s LaLD Engine Week 2018 entry is the venerable, the legendary, the unparalelled F40. A lethal combination of kevlar, fuel, cavalli rampanti, and a gated shifter.
Just kidding!
Remember the Pontiac Fiero of Bring a Diecast Trailer fame? Well, to lend it an air of legitimacy, I parked it next to an actual F40. I think it helps class it up just a tad.
On close inspection, they do both have a V8 in the back, but only one of them can really rampare in any way.
I picked up the Fiero for a six-pack of Coors Light and a cheeseburger from the dollar menu from the last owner because I thought it might be fun to troll car shows in my “F40,” but then carbros stole my schtick and I wasn’t even invited to Radwood or Hooptycon. Now it’s just sitting outside my house, misaligned decklid and all, feeling sorry for itself.
Anyway, let’s just move on to bigger and better things tomorrow. V10s sound nicer anyway.
