Another gem sent to me by Jobjoris, this lengthened and radified Peugeot 205 Grand Raid needed to be spotlighted. This 1.8L 16 valve four cylinder Turbo engine put out 36o angry French horses, which Ari Vatanen wrangled to the overall win in 1987, despite finishing the first stage 275th!
Enfin, Jobjoris already detailed this fantastic car in 2017, but since I’m now the caretaker (and apparently it lost the roof spoiler and front light bar somewhere along the way, but who cares! I might have to build a new one, though...), it needed some showcasing instead. And what is more 1980s than a crazified econo-hatch on big wheels, racing through a rally stage?
