Quick Custom

Here is my 1955 Chevy Bel Air. This car is an experiment in polished trim. After stripping the car I hand polished it and laid Tamiya masking tape over the trim. Unfortunately I didn’t have a fresh exacto blade so it was a bit difficult to make good cuts along the trim lines. I hit it with a few coats of Testors Gloss Custom Red Metal Flake. I’m guessing the polished body is the reason it’s more pink than red. It will eventually get some real riders and an interior repaint but that will be sometime down the road.
