Now that I find myself getting into doing more wheels swaps I find myself with “leftovers”. Basically perfectly good castings that just have nothing to roll on, that I don’t really want because one, I already have them or two, I don’t really care for the casting. So is there a market for these? Should I trade or sell them as is? Do I slap some mainline wheels on them and trade or sell them? Do they just go to a casting graveyard? Since I’m mainly looking for Real Riders many of these castings are all metal and typically cost more then the mainlines, but are obviously devalued without their original rolling stock. What do you guys do?
