I really struggled between this submission or recycling my custom DB5 I recently featured but I decided on something fresh. Here we have HotWheels Speed Machines Jaguar XJ220 LM.
I was just getting into collecting as this series was beginning to disappear and it’s a real shame because this series is really quite amazing. Within the series HotWheels made two versions, one white and this one in traditional British racing green. I was going to attempt a wheel swap but that will have to wait for another day. Since I did drill this casting apart I adjusted the ride height slightly and gave the mid mounted V6 twin turbo a dab of silver. The outside has remained mostly unchanged except for the addition of tail lights and shadowing. Definitely HotWheels best version of this aging cast in my opinion.
