So it isn’t exactly the right color for the movie car but then again the movie car was a Fiero, so there.
What we have here is an older Hot Wheels 1:18 Ferrari 250 SWB California, recently acquired in trade from DTG11. The year was unspecified on the packaging which I find unusual but I’ll go with the 1961/1962 model year. I actually love this darker red, the bright rosso gets old after staring at one too many a Ferrari. Details are pretty good on this for the age and for the most part seem accurate. I had to have this one for that face, a great looking classic frontend if I do say so. Didn’t snap too many pictures tonight, getting back into it after taking some time off (aka acquiring a new phone). Hopefully I’ll have a HW custom by the end of the weekend to share!
