Stuttgart Sunday: Custom Porsche 959

Slowly getting back into the customs game post Emory project/having a daughter born earlier this month. I found my inspiration on Instagram when I came across the picture of the white 959 Gruppe B prototype.

You saw a sneak peek earlier in the week when I posted a one shot of it with the Majorette transporter. Since then I have added a few details to finish it up, but I’ve kept this one very simple. The early Hot Wheels casting started as a white base with some decal removal. Wheels were swapped for custom painted white turbo fans and ride height adjusted. Added some black around the windows for rubber trim and some head and tail lights. If you look closely I put a Porsche decal on the rear center light as well as a hood crest. The metal base was painted white and detailed. Lastly I added a dual mega phone exhaust just like the prototype. Not my most involved effort but it looks the part. Enjoy!
