While I’m just as excited to make the 2 hour drive up the coast to Rennsport next weekend to see all of the history from Germany, I’m also excited to see the new history being made out of shop in North Hollywood.
Rod Emory is bringing the MOMO sponsored RSR 356 build to Rennsport and for those that have followed the progress from sketch to reality it should be extremely impressive. With wild Emory 356 metal work combined with a modified 964 chassis and a proprietary new twin turbo flat four power plant it should be nothing short of jaw dropping.
For me recreating Rod’s first build that started it all when he was 16 was probably the most rewarding accomplishment I’ve had in this hobby and an experience I’ll surely never forget. I’m looking forward to meeting up with him and his inspiring new creation.
