We're back looking at another fine release from the Retro Entertainment Series (D case), this time it's from a franchise which is a guilty pleasure among numerous Jalops. Whether we hate to love or love to hate it, we can't deny that the cars were definitely more interesting.

This Dodge Charger R/T is renowned for the wheelie and burn-out scene which never fails to amuse me. I'm a big MoPar nut, with the 2nd gen Dodge Charger being my favourite body style, this release was a must-have for me. I really love how the chrome parts, the chrome Real Riders break apart the sea of black to create a nice contrast.

I could have missed out on this little menace altogether. The retailers I frequent tend to stock up new cases of Retro Entertainment once with one or two cases and almost never replenish when stocks run dry. This is hardly the problem, when new cases hit the pegs, the popular castings hardly hang around for a day. Scalpers, hoarders or whatever you call them will pounce and grab every one of them in a flash. A person like me who attends to other things like school and assignments is always at their mercy.

Boy, was I lucky. Just happen I arrived on the day when the pegs were freshly stocked up. I returned he next day, and only the less popular casting greeted me. OK, enough of me ranting... Back to the car

This Cragar SS-like Real Riders certainly has its place and no doubt a favorite among collectors and customizers. When I look at this car, the matte black paint allows the wheels to stand out. Some times a Hot Wheels designer will just slap these wheels on other castings and it just felt meh - not with this Charger.

What I like about a matt finish is how it absorbs light so it doesn't reflect my face or my room in the pictures. Haha! I didn't pay much attention to the license plate but can anyone confirm if the numbers are true to the movie?

The big little surprise I had was how Hot Wheels painted the details for the black supercharger belt, I only realized that when I looked at the pictures.

I'm pretty sure when Hot Wheels release Bryan O'Connor's Nissan Skyline GT-R in this serious, it's going to generate a lot of hype and demand. They could just release a case with nothing but the Skyline it will still sell out.

P.S, I decided not add "Review" to the title since I tend to go off-tangent. lol
