25 years of this Happy Little Roadster

The MX-5 or more commonly known as the Miata to us folks from JalOPPO. My interest for this roadster is sealed when countless auto journalists have been talking and writing about is since its inception. When I bump into this miniature iconic car at a flea market, even at a steep S$10, I had to have it.

As you can see, I've switched to a white background; Red and White - see where I'm going? A little red object in a sea of white, rather symbolic I reckon. lol

Look at this happy little bugger, can you ever say no to this face? From its base, I believe this was released in the early to mid '90s, right at the time when this car was at its peak. Strangely, Tomica never released a NB roadster, jumping straight into the 3rd generation. Hopefully they don't skip out on the forth gen.

This post isn't for me to rehash articles and jokes on the heralded Miata, in my usual style I write a bit of gibberish and let the pictures do the rest of the work. lol

There's quite a bit of chrome missing from the passenger side front wheel (RHD), but I bought it knowing that it wouldn't be easy to find another one in the wild. That's one hell of a curb rash!

I think we haven't done it so I'm going to call out all LaLDers to bring their diecast Miata out, and share them under the comments for something like a scaled down version of the 25th anniversary celebration of this motoring icon.
