Muscle Monday - '71 Chevy Chevelle SS

How about something of the bow-tie variety today? This 1971 Chevelle SS is one the first handful of Johnny Lightnings that sparked my adoration of this brand of diecast cars. There is a certain charm about the models they produced that isn't found in other brands, perhaps it's the high details and immaculate paint quality that adult collectors appreciated. They aren't the most accurate in the business but that doesn't detract from their appeal.

In Jalopnik's favorite color, this Chevelle SS should score high marks among the crowd here. No idea if this is a 'matic or a manual, I guess it's up to us diecasters to answer that with with our imagination.
